Background:

Founded by people with over 25 years of avionics maintenance and test experience using Automated Test Equipment (ATEs) in the Indian Navy / Air force, the name NEAR MI was coined as an acronym for Naval  Engineering  Aero-marine  Repair  to aptly represent the common past of the founders and the aim to support our customers through repairs under a Make in India approach. 

 Mission:

Near MI Tech Services Pvt Limited undertakes repairs of legacy and modern systems that are in use by the Indian defence services, PSUs and Defence Research and Development Organisations.

Vision:

Near MI Tech Services Pvt Ltd aims to become the one stop solution for the challenges faced in maintaining, repairing, calibrating legacy and new generation electronic systems and test equipment. Our endeavour will be to offer world class in-country service to support electronic systems and circuit boards in use by the Indian Armed forces, PSUs, Defence Research and Development Organisations (DRDO) at competitive prices.

Repairs will be undertaken through reverse engineering and indigenisation (where required) to support equipment classified as non-supportable by the OEMs. In doing so we aim to turn Near MI Tech Services into a dependable agency to help our customers combat obsolescence and hence the hashtag  #obsolescenceproof on all our social media pages. As of May 2021 we have been ISO 9001: 2015 certified for the services we offer.
